Default New Lifters: engine transformed!

I now have new hydraulic lifters, and the engine is transformed! It revs much better, has more power, sounds much nicer (it was beginning to sound like an old VW beetle...). The deterioration started gradually, so that I did not notice it.

And now, what with the C2S split grill I ordered from Gert and am having installed next week, I am in automotive heaven...

I have been feeling insufficiently updated on the matter of hydraulic lifters. Can we get a dedicated forum on this topic?

Wait... Our cars have hydraulic lifters? I need to find the button for that. I scrape my front bumper all the time.

Here we go again. As long as moderators don't complain, what's your beef anyway? We discuss what we want on this forum. I'll repeat again: put me on your ignore list - just that simple.

Congrats on your "new and improved" 911! Me thinks some folks might be jealous by their responses. Lol.

Thanks great.
As long as no one gets to personal, then I wouldn't sweat the peanut gallery. I have realized that from some of the comments, it's obvious some people have way to much free time. I'm been off on an injury and can't stand not being able to do a whole lot other than browse RL

Lifters, smifters......

glad the change works out for you, but

Let's discuss the beauty of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Here seen from Wengen, where they allow NO cars!
Not even 993s

Bah. Looks like an avalanche waiting to happen.
Serves them right for not allowing 993s.
