WB is 1.5” wider at the rear (Visually side by side NB vs WB makes a difference) on each side only Turbo S, Turbo, C4S and C2S are wide body cars all on Turbo Body Shell.
C2 is NB
C4 is a NB
Targa is a NB
Cabriolet is NB
WB C4S on Left / NB C4 on Right

Narrow Body in an exceptional color > Wide Body in common color. Color being the same.... Wide Body > Narrow Body. Just one persons opinion but color would likely factor into the selection process.

I'll throw in my unsolicited .02.
993 "narrow" body is by no means slab sided. Has awesome curves.
Compared to 964 doesn't have the front fender flares but to me still seems more curvy overall, especially at the rear. Of course "narrow" 993's have much more curves than 996 and IMO still much more curvy than 996 turbo.
Not talking in absolute width/measurements, just my perception of curves.
Recently there was a 97 993 narrow body on BAT -but- it had twists and a turbo/S front bumper and the auction was nearly dominated by people convinced it was an S/Widebody despite comments confirming the contrary.
Still, after knowledgeable people pointed out the differences there were still comments like "appears to be a widebody to me, are these auction watchers rookies?"
That being said, I guess I'll leave the difference in value up to you, considering it's hard to convince people online that a narrow body isn't a wide body![hiha](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/roflmao.gif)

NB is the more balanced car to my eyes. The proportions just look better to me.
The widebody needs more front fender to balance things out. The turbo wing does help soften it some in the rear but I still want just a touch more out front for balance.
FWIW I own a widebody.

I can assure you, Narrow Body next to Widebody there is no question.

Assure? I'm assured the NB looks better.
To me, the proportions of the WB look too fat, period, but the real aesthetic problem is that the rear bumper doesn't line up with the rear fenders/wings - the designers were obviously constrained but that extra bump and ridges on the rear bumper make it look like an afterthought.
ETA don't get me started on the sills
