Rich- Man, you work fast! That's a great idea with the 2x4s as spacers...no more guessing. I will have to stop by HD in Columbia tomorrow to see if they have the ramp kits. Never seen those before. Now, you're all set for engine drop next winter

Exactly Planning preventative maintenance, not procrastinating on reparative necessity, LOL I'll prolly do a LWF, RS PP and Clutch, rear main, maybe consider some top end services, basic odds and ends.

I had considered a RWD conversion but I actually really like the AWD. No burnouts for me for a while

My car is up on truck stands now on the lift. I'll post photos for you this weekend. Tons of room under it.

here you go.
its pictured here on the 'truck stands' which i use a third of the time, it gives about 6" of extra clearance over the cross bars. plenty of room to do just about anything, with the truck stands and hockey pucks...

i thought id want to sink this lift into my floor, and ive found quiet the opposite as time has gone on. i love having the flexibility to move it into either garage bay or orientate for different cars ect... I use two 2x12's and sawed a 60 degree angle on the ends to drive up. cars lower than my M033 need two 2x12's stacked on each side. my car only requires an extra 2"s though...

Rosso, you won't regret it! The only thing I cannot access easily with this is the fuel pump. That can be done by raising the car up and placing blocks under the wheels, then lowering the car onto the blocks. A few 2x12s stacked up with a 2x3 unleash side so the car cannot roll works very well.

Does look like your having fun and your daughter is enjoying it too I see.

BTW the duck tail looks great. Having a lift does make you appreciate these cars more. All the best with it.

Yeah, about to start a TPC supercharger install with a full Fabspeed header RSR exhaust That is Violet. She ALWAYS wants to help in the garage Thanks for the compliments. Having a lift makes me want to lay under it with a toothbrush and 30 cans of brake cleaner and try to make it look like some of these other guys cars on here! LOL

LOL!!!

Actually Wurth Citrus degreaser works best. Non polluting emulsifier removes cosmoline straight out of the can or just about everything else diluted.

Enjoy

Same wheels, same lift! All I need is a slice of forced induction and we're real Porsche doppelgängers! Pumped to follow your supercharger progress!
