Ok I have modeled the button that you sent me.
I am guessing on the size of the tabs that broke off. can you take a needle nose pliers and get them out so we can get a better measurement?

here is what the model looks like

I discovered the parts are pretty cheap anyhow. It is not worth the time to print them

I think they would be possible to model . But I have a 964 with a different bumper. if anyone has plugs they want to lend me I will give it a go.
or if someone wants to lend me their 993 I would be game for that also, but I think I would have to hang on to it for a few miles quite a few it was a turbo ....

Well I think I have a phone holder for about every spot in the car now.
Here is one I just made that uses the place where the trim cover mounts on the door Jam. this fits very securely in this position and is very visible to the driver. This uses my slider mount so it can accommodate any of my cell phone holders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 & iPhones 4 and 5.

I have built in a cutout for double sided tape, But I think it fits securely without it. Very easy to install , just pop off the OEM cover and replace with the door mount.

Hello Rennlisters I have a question for those following this thread.
Earlier this week I posted a thread offering up my cell phone holders for sale .
I got some positive responses from the thread , but it was taken down by the moderators as they thought I was a business selling merchandize .
I have been told that I could be a small business sponsor for $150 . I was really approaching this as a hobby that could help rennlisters as well as generate a couple of bucks to help fund my Porsche addiction. which is why I have tried not to be greedy and not charge more then I think the phone holders and parts are worth.

My question to those of you that are following this thread is do you think there is enough interest on the board for me to pay the $150 . Or would you be willing to pay more then the $50 for the phone holders so that I can fund the $150 small business sponsor fee ?

thanks for all of your help and great ideas
John

Forget the $150 - sell them on Ebay, much bigger and more diverse market for what ever you care to produce.

PS. I'm still waiting for the AC button. We can live without a cellphone bracket and a drinks can holder but without a working AC button there will be no cooling - and its starting to get hot down here.
