Default The all important stance...

My plan is to get my Ocean Blue Metallic car to look like the 993 pictured below. I'm planning on doing 19" RUF's but I'm torn on the right suspension that will achieve this look:

My shortlisted options are going with either:

1. Koni FSD's with M033 ROW springs - no rear adjustment right?

2. Bilstein HD's with M033 ROW springs - more expensive (I can add a wing for the cost difference!)

Suggestions?

In 25 or so words..."Not possible without the GT2/RS knuckle and tie-rod thinggie or else you will get bumpsteer out the wazoo, plus the front end will scrape everything."

I see 993s lowered like this all the time...how do people achieve with shock & spring and still maintain a good ride? I'd like to know too.

I went with PSS10's and went with RS+10mm.. the pic is lower, very close to RS and probably RS-10mm.. for this you will need RS endlinks to clear the suspension bits.

looks sexy!

I went with Bilstein HD's and M033...I didn't do the install myself, but instructed to use RS +10 to 20...I don't have a side shot but I think it looks pretty good. No bump steer...very nice ride.

Hi Cam,

That's my friend's car - Polar silver C4S, I know exactly what he's running as I'm running a very similar setup except with PSS10s. His car has RS coilovers (slightly below RS height I would est 10mm) w/Tarett toe arms.

We are running 19's w/7mm spacer on all 4 corners. The pic you posted was running Pzeros F: 235/35/19 & R: 295/30/19.

We both have switched to Hankooks V12 now with same tire sizes, much slimmer sidewall tire. No rubs or issues at all.

Here's some pics from a few different angles on my car. Good luck with your slope!

I went with PSS10s. Can't remember the ride height exactly but I have no issues w/ rubbing or bump steer. I have the Bilsteins set at 8 and the ride is hard but not harsh.

We are building out very similar cars! I moved from Toronto to Seattle 4 years ago.. my C2 will eventually move back there.. I miss the local racetracks of the north east.

Bilstein HD and M030. Ride is acceptable on brick streets here in Tampa.

Baron - I need to talk to you about the spacers.
