Hans - buy some 7mm spacers from Ray as Knight and I have. That will certainly fix the lack of "flushness".

That's right I invented a new word..."flushness".

Defined by CamsPorsche Dictionary:

The act of making your rides wheels and tires sit flush when compared to the wheel arches when looking at it from a slight angle.

haha

Aesthetically, the 19's don't look good or right on a 993, IMO.

Default Rake vs RS stance

I've seen 993 pics with some pretty aggressive forward rake. Looks like the car is about to spring forward. And it does look great.

Yet factory 993RS cars didn't have any rake, did they?

This shot of an RS (off of RL some time ago) appears to be factory specs.

I've been told there is suppose to be a certain degree of forward rake, however from a visual perception it won't appear that way due to the fender arches.

I agree, the fender arch front and rear masks it.

But on this car (sorry, can't remember which one of you guys owns this beauty), it is very pronounced. I supposed if it's properly corner-balanced, extreme rake won't affect handling --just make it harder to corner balance.

My car was set to RS specs, and corner-balanced, but has very little forward rake.
(hard to see with the black car and dark shadow)

I do love that springing cat look however

No? I kinda got used to it. But then the rear tires worn down......... (Admittedly not the best photo, but it's all I've got at the moment.)

Well, the GT3-type wheel in a 19 isn't as prominent as a RUF 19. That'll pass my muster.

All personal preferences about 19's, initially I had the same feelings esp after reading most ppl comments on Rennlist. Heck I guess some even prefer 17's and think 18's are too big.

However when I saw 19's - RUF on a few 993 WB's at our local events, I was immediately sold.

Cam - Looking forward to the pics once installed, will be spectacular on your metallic blue!

Did you feel any noticeable difference after installation of the tilt kit? Did you install Rennline's tilt kit or another's? TIA
