Default Bosch discontinued 993 Headlight Lenses. We have sets on the shelf!

Bosch has discontinued the 993 headlamp lens and we bought the last of their stock. Sure you can still get the whole assembly, but at over 700 for a set, it gets kinda pricey. When your headlamp buckets are still good, but the lenses have gotten foggy, just replace the lens. Common sense, right?

New lamps really get rid of that foggy look and cleans up the front of the car.

Get a set while they are still available.

If they are foggy, just remove the whole lamp, unclip the lens & clean out. Takes about 30min total while having a beer.

FWIW, You can get them for under $90 a side from just about every where.

Yep, all of the ones that Bosch had have dried up. I called them the other day to order more and they told me they only had one set. Needless to say, I bought it immediately and it has since been sold. The only ones I could get came directly from Porsche and we only were able to get a few sets. They retail at 156.00 each, and we are offering them to you for 250 for the set.

If any of those guys have them, they may only have one or two sets left. (as far as I know, none of them have them though.)

I agree the price (availability really) on the replacement lens' has gone up (availability down).

FYI, if you need a new (complete) headlamp assy (non-litronic) AutohausAZ has them for ~$285 right now. I seriously doubt that price will last long.

Thanks for highlighting (pun somewhat intended), I have wanted a set and picked up. Really glad as this is an important detail on my tired 993.

Bought a new set from AZ a few years back for $110.00.

They still are mint-no chips.

The smart thing to do would be to install clear 3m film on them.

Never would need replacing then.

Doesn't somebody make/sell a much thicker vs. of clear film for these headlamps? Who has them, so we can swamp them with order requests?
