Speedlines, as the car came in with; the gold BBS with slicks are my spare set (or they are until someone makes me an offer I can't refuse!).

SpeedArena is enough candy to last you a lifetime JP. You have my permission to lick it once in a while whilst pouting.... in bed.

.. thank you ... but I still want to window shop :-) You know the French call it "faire du lèche-vitrines" which means 'window licking' ..

Don't let me stop you JP, all I ask is that you exercise a modicum of restraint by keeping it to yourself in future.

Well, restraint is definitely NOT my strong suit, but I'll try ...

Polishing finished, assembly continues.

Door seals, trims, mirrors, rear lights & new reflector, window seals, etc.

Nearly there folks.

Fitting out the interior the last couple of days including alcantara dash & part leather seat retrim. Seats not quite finished so Marc has been detailing the rest of the interior.

The owner of the car has specified a sound deadening package so that he and his wife can use it for occasional continental touring - another reason why he preferred the subtlety of the standard RS spoilers. As a result we came up with the plan to fit a roof lining to the Clubsport shell. Not possible because the roll cage gets in the way of the headlining rails? Think again......

Where there is a will there is a way (at 9m).

With a temporary hardback seat fitted, the car then managed a quick drive around the block to be loaded up on our 4 wheel alignment lift ready for Monday morning's job. All that is left then are the archliners, undertrays & side skirts, followed by the MOT test, then back to the shop for seats and door panels before collection.

Interesting Speedlines... I thought that the RSCS retained the same spec Speedlines (front and rear) as the 'regular' RS.

Don't get me wrong - I love the wider rears.

What are the specs (for those of us who have wheel fetishes...)?

BTW - the car looks stunning!

^^^ everytime I see an RS steering wheel I think it's got to be one of the most beautiful modern wheel designs I've ever seen. The mushroom horn button sitting in the aluminum surround within the circle of hardware ... it's perfect.

I was thinking the same thing.... but then again i had mine built to be wider in the rear cause IMO they look better that way.

Agreed. I just wish I could justify the non airbag

I've only owned two 911's with airbags ... so for me, it's never been a big deal. I'm of the school of thought that my belt is doing the heavy work ... and having said that, I'd think twice before I'd remove the passenger bag. I couldn't live with that ....

The wheels came on the LHD donor RS, so not being a Speedline junkie I can honestly say that I have not paid a lot of attention to them or spotted a difference, but if I get the chance I'll measure them up next week & let you know.
