Default That was you in front of me?

Hi Derek,

I guess you must have been the guy in front of me that Doug made me wait for before I got up to bat. Good for me you passed. The car is amazing and if it doesn't sell I wouldn't be heart broken. I'm trying to purchase a ocean front cabin up the coast and want to make a bigger down payment if I can sell this at a reasonable price.

As for the price Doug was absolutely firm at $47k but I am asking for $49k obo. Same thing? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe more, maybe less.

I don't know how many of the guys on this site would agree but in the three years of research I did before buying a 993 I noticed that the good ones where actually going up in price about 5% per year. Given that and along with the fact that there was a line up four deep to buy this car at $47k last year I think its a good starting price. The dealers would be asking for $57k. I've already had a number of nibbles from other sites in just the 24hrs since listing, so we'll see.

I don't know if I will get t0 15 before this car sells. I meant to be more active in this site when I bought the car but never seemed to get around to it. Doug had great things to say about being a Rennlister.

If it doesn't sell I will try to drop in more often.

This is what my car was exactly like BEFORE it had $40k worth of improvements and subtle modifications. Good reference for value. Thanks for posting.
