HWY 23 Road conditions!
Patrick,
Sorry to here about your wheels. This rain has really made a mess of our roads. Hope to see you there!
Everyone,
Speaking of roads; highway 23 has a lane closure at mile marker 21, but only for a 1/4 mile. I'm planning on making a run up 23 this Thursday to verify it's safe for our cars. Those who are meeting me in Alma for our yearly run up 23 don't fear. If 23 is too bad I have other great routes we can take to Eureka.

Maybe we should stop by Patrick's house and kidnap him. He could blame it on us. If I'm driving the Pepper I'll have lots of room to hog-tie him in the back.
Chuck, let me know where and what time you want to meet when you can.

I'm getting the images ready for my exhibit again this year at Porsche Palooza. I'll be showing the usual panorama's from last year's Palooza, but as usual, I'm going to be showing something new as well....quite interesting!...but I can't give it away yet...
I also still have some Porsche Palooza books for sale. These are bound, hardcover books with 200+ images from the first three Porsche Palooza's (2005-2007). I'm also designing some Palooza postcards, which I hope to have ready by the time the event starts.
I wish I could meet you guys along the way, but I need to get there as early as possible to set-up my images, etc. It takes much longer than one thinks...

Bump and re-post.
Hello all,
Palooza is fast approaching and it's time to start planning. Last year, several from Dallas hooked up with several from Arkansas to drive the final leg into Eureka together.
For anyone interested in joining this year, we'll plan on meeting at around 2:30pm on Friday the 13th (uh oh). The meeting place will be same as last year which is the Hwy 23 North exit from I-40 in Ozark, AR. I believe it's exit 35. There's a small store of some sort on the west side of 23 just about 1/4 mile north of I-40.
For those who don't know, Hwy 23 is aka the Pig Trail and is about 2 hours of twisties that leads right into Eureka.
Chime in if you plan on joining the fun so no one gets left behind.

That store just off I-40 is a liquor store. Brian, have you changed your mind about going up on Thursday? I'm waiting for Travis to post because I'm thinking about going up earlier and joining some of the AR crew for lunch.

Anyone traveling down I-64 West or I-44 West on Friday? My route is from Louisville, KY - St. Louis - Springfield - Eureka. As of now I am doing it solo. So if anyone wants to meet up PM me.
