Weather forcast is looking good. I talked with a friend who is a meteorolgist at our local abc and he says maybe 70 Saturday, cold front Saturday night but very little moisture in place so just a slight chance of rain and cold Sunday.

Travis,
I got the same forecast from a meteorologist at work. Sounds like it will be warmer than last year!.
Looking forward to seeing you again. AND everybody else.

Palooza was fantastic. I'll let the miscreant who took the speeding ticket for the team stay anonymous if he/she wishes, I won't divulge the name.
Outstanding weather, maybe even a tad warm. Fantastic roads. Even more fantastic group of people, I'll be going back but next time I'll diet for a couple of weeks first. Lots of photos taken. I'll get them up when I can.

Yes, we had another great year at Palooza. I was glad to see the continued (even if minimal) growth over last year -- especially considering the economy. Last count was just over 200 registered Porsches (up from 171 last year) and approx. 350 registered attendees.
The weather was unique -- very warm and humid, which was atypical of the usual cold, damp climate in November for past Palooza's. It's just more proof that Arkansas weather is very unpredictable this time of year. Next year bring: shorts, short-sleeved & long-sleeved shirts, jeans and a light jacket.
The traffic was unusually busy during our fun runs Saturday morning. In past Palooza fun runs, the early morning runs had little traffic, so we could keep a good pace, but this weekend, given the extremely warm weather, there were more people on the roads than expected. There were some attendees who also held their own fun runs Sunday morning.
Photos - I'll be posting sometime soon - allow me several weeks.
Thanks to all of you who came this year and hope to see you ALL next year! Yes, you can call the hotel and reserve your room/rate for next year. You can even reserve the same room if you prefer.
It's very convenient to stay at the Inn of the Ozarks (Best Western), since all of the activities take place at the hotel grounds (Convention Center).

A few more comments from the weekend...
My father & I had a close call on the Spirited Drive Saturday morning -- a farmer decided to turn in front of us as we were picking-up speed down a hill & curve. I had to brake hard from 90mph and swerve into the opposite traffic lane to avoid colliding with the truck. Obviously, the farmer grew impatient waiting to turn and underestimated our speeds. He also paused once he entered our lane. Several of the cars following me had to follow suit as well. Thankfully, the fine Porsche engineering performed as expected. Some attendees who also held their own fun runs Sunday morning.
The unveiling of the Porsche Panamera S (ie: often referred to as the new 928 4-door) was a welcomed sight. The elegance and design of the car was more impressive in-person than in the photos I'd seen. The extended headroom, cupholders(!) and overall interior design was quite impressive. My only note was the oversized rear-view (door) mirrors. They are huge and rather distracting element in the external design.

Hey all, Leonard here.
I was one of the new Palooza attendees this year and all I can say is what a superb weekend!
I timed my New Mexico-Florida trip to include the Palooza, but I wound up getting started late out of Santa Fe Thursday, finally leaving at 5:00PM. I drove 800 miles through the night, and arrived Friday 6:30AM. The Ozark mountain roads were so fantastic that I couldn't help but unload my packed-to-the-brim 911 and climb back in for another 6 hours of driving, totalling 1100 miles in 24 hours.
The rest of the weekend was a perfect Porsche dream realized. I met and became friends with the nicest, most sharp-witted, and enthusiastic group of Porschephiles, looked over some fantastic cars, and enjoyed the beauty and challenging roads of an area I had not previously visited. Leonard and Melody...Thank You!
And to Chuck, Jay, Dave, Dave, Brian, Steve, Tom, Don, JD, and the dozens of other new pals I met this past weekend, I'll see you next year.
