Thanks, Mike! ...& thanks to a PCNA executive with a penchant for 'Speedy':
After Porsche's limited-edition collectors' cars, he shoed her with the world's 1st set of Sport Classics in 2010 - before their newest Speedster was announced.
Doc, that's high praise ^^ from someone with a sick 964 who thoroughly knows 911s:
Approaching 1,600,000 views on your "Ultimate Porsche 911 Picture Thread" on 911UK.com with >7,700 posts
...& a recent trend toward digitally-altered low-riders

always lusted after the Fuchs type wheels, then Porsche released the Sport Classic.
I tried some other OEM wheels but having seen Jager / Curve Lover's wheels on his GR 993 Speedster there was only one set of rims calling and and tempting me to spend yet more £/$ on my car.

Thanks to your post, I bet Frank's wheels will do likewise for other RLers:
I´m the owner of DynamicSpeed/Germany. We manufacture our own retro design called "RS Classic Series" since 2006, 3-pcs 16,17,18 and 19" , widths from 7,0 up to 14,0 and variable/custommade offsets.
Since last year we also offer a Monobloc cast version from the RS Classic series, 8,5 x 18 et48 and 10,0 x 18 et45. This combination fits very well for the 964 narrow body and you don´t need any spacers.
Our complete RS Classic series is made in Germany and also German TÜV-approved, this means you get a quality at highest level.
A bit 'slammed,' but fine for those who can't get enough
...not that we know anyone like that

Speedy inspiration
Hans-- Might want to have your bump looked at by a doctor -- DrKnauf, aka Cowbell
I'll give a fist-bump for your bump ^^ when we meet up.
In the meantime, to honor your bump:
Speedy pics recently posted on autoHausHamilton.com.au...
You might have seen we were on the hunt for a 993 Cabriolet as a donor car for a Speedster build and... here it is!
We're very happy with its condition and excited to get the conversion done.
The donor car, 993 Cabriolet:
993 Speedster:
Needless to say, this car will be a head turner!

Go to the Auto Show!
As the north-east U.S. thaws out from an intense winter, this is 1 of my favorite times of the year:
- the New York International Auto Show,
- RL tri-state fun runs, &
- the world's largest Porsche-only swap meet.
The NYIAS' doors are open to the public tomorrow through April 12.
An incredible experience:
>1 million annual guests; ~1,000 vehicles; >950,000 sq feet on 4 floors.

Memories of Speedy's adventures over the last few years, starting with Manhattan's Javitz Center where Speedy was a guest of America's Car Museum®:
If you can make it to NYC, check out the - North America's 1st & largest attended auto show.
During my trip to Manhattan, I got to meet lots of amazingly cool RLers, & even made it to Hershey
A nice reminder of how it all started with the help of 1 RLer, who happened to ask for a 993 Speedster

Quite good ones, they are!
Sounds like Speedy's kin is there however - the new Boxster Spyder!
Did the Boxster actually debut at NYIAS? That has to be the biggest debut at NYIAS in a long, long time.
Besides of course, a red speedster that graced its carpet.....

Thanks, Toastie!!!
Yes, the 375 hp roadster's inauguration was this week.
Straight from Porsche.com, check out their "New York International Auto Show 2015: world premiere of the Boxster Spyder" press release.
A RLer called Friday who's already put down his deposit on a silver one for October delivery.
Speedy shares some sharacteristics: human-powered soft top , fabric door handles, no stereo, manual transmission for windy open road, & a fellow NYIAS floor model

Sure thing, Curve!
The stereo block-off plate for a modern double-din car is pretty funny. Essentially a blank space where a small TV used to be. Needs to be filled in with something. Maybe a toaster. At the very least a cubby.
