New Wheels
After long admiring various classic wheel designs and drooling over speedy's and other's wheels I decided to upgrade.
Lucky for me my dealer had a set of Porsche Classic that he wanted to get ride of and I wanted them on my car !
Suspension is next but I wanted the new setup first.

Sizes, offsets, pertinent info ($$), please? Are lips polished or painted? I happen to really like these. What i really like is that the rim edges don't really stick out past the tire. Kinda important for a city car.

They fit the 993 curves very well.
There are other companies that make very similar wheels, such as FP1.
While this thread mostly focuses on ones that mimic the original style, it could be of interest to you.

I bought these from Jack Daniel's Porsche in Upper Saddle River NJ. They were great to deal with, as usual, and they were just as excited to put them on my 993 as I was !!!
Here is an online description, I originally got the fitment from fellow Rennlister Curve Lover

Porsche Tequipment
Inner strength is also evident on the outside.
The 911. An icon. There is simply no substitute.
Just like the Porsche Tequipment range of accessories. Each component not only has to be visually appealing, it also has to be technically compatible.
That is why all the model-specific products in the Tequipment range have been developed, tested and formulated with the complete vehicle in mind, and by the same Porsche engineers and designers who made your car.
All this takes place primarily at the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach, Germany – from design through to approval. Every product undergoes exhaustive testing throughout its development to ensure optimum performance and durability. This is because each product has to meet the highest standards of Porsche quality and functionality.
One of the highlights is the new 19-inch Sport Classic wheel with the traditional styling of a Fuchs wheel, featuring wheel spokes with a black painted finish. As the name suggests, the wheel has been exclusively reserved for the 911 Sport Classic, a strictly limited edition development from Porsche Exclusive. Until now. Thanks to Porsche Tequipment, the wheel is now also available for a selection of other 911 models.
The 19-inch Sport Classic wheel has undergone extensive testing. The loads associated with
continuous operation were simulated on specially designed test rigs, while laboratory analyses provided confirmation of material and surface quality. The wheels were then observed in dynamic driving conditions. All of this was essential to guarantee the best possible combination of performance and everyday practicality.
Whichever Tequipment products you ask your Porsche Centre to fit, one thing remains unchanged: your original vehicle warranty.

Three Wheelin'
I think a big part of that is the way the Michelin PS2's have a protruding lip. I really like that feature of them. They are "curb feelers" of sorts. Saved me once I'm pretty sure.

Thanks, Ish. If lips are polished, I would strongly, strongly suggest always having them covered with some wax. I'm currently having an issue on my SSR polished lips.
Paul, I've had PS2s and Toyo R1R on my former ROH wheels, have Dunlop Z1s on my current SSRs and PS2s on Sport Classic 2s. Part of it, yes, is that tire curb feeler But ROH, for example, had the lip stick out even way past that and so does SSR.
