I'm very late to the party with this one. I was fortunate enough to hang with Jäger a while back at Irvine C&C and get this shot. It was my favorite of the day and the only one I "worked on." Unfortunately it sat on my computer due to me being busy/lazy until today when I saw his avatar and noticed it's almost the EXACT SAME SHOT! Anyway, enjoy another one!

What a great memory of what Ed H. calls the 'King of all Cars & Coffees' ... & I can see why! I was glad I could be a part of a gathering in honor of RJT's cross-country visit. Always priceless to JoAnne & Robert + hang with ~25 RLers + 993s.

Was my 1st Irvine experience; so fun to glimpse another reason why the CA car culture is out of this world -- you guys have so much

After exchanging some PMs before I drove into town, I was thrilled when we finally got to meet & grab brunch.

As expected, your 993's da bomb; 1 of many reasons are Recaro A8s ... seen through the glass here:

I met up with seriously cool folks in Irvine for what I understand is the largest Cars & Coffee event.
1 of many highlights -- of cars & Rennlisters -- in addition to finally catching up with Gonzilla's ride that I've admired for long time, was 993C4RS (Chad).

The place was so packed by the time that 993C4RS arrived, that when a non-993 pulled left, I reserved a spot with my body so he could park
He sees his chance & makes his move:




If you have a pulse, you LUV Chad's wheels
However, getting to casually learn much more about this fascinating RLer & his ride was especially a blast...




...For example, his cool decal on his hood is a Porsche part - just 1 of many insights to his attention to detail

You've certainly noticed 1PcarNut's Zenith Blue ducktail, parked between Keith & Chad above. Just perfect.
IIRC, he's won 1st place in all 5 Concours events he's entered. ...& it's easy to see why

Besides following Mike's lead with the ^^ post from Cars & Coffee, I wanted to help get the word out:

Ed Hughes is putting together a RLer Irvine get-together for right now. I can't make it, but if you're lucky you'll meet the likes of Ed, Niche & Victoria, sdCabrio, KJR914, nine9six, 1pcarnut, civerson4, tbil, For202fly, Eric in SD, Gonzilla, 993C4RS, PonchoBroke, abarthguy, FLYT993, mgianzero, C4SJOHN & more

I actually just booked my flight back to Switzerland in August. Planning on spending most of my time doing outdoor sports in Interlaken and the trip coincidentally falls on the same time as the Porsche Treffen


That was actually my pops in the car. He received the car and saw it before I did as I was working overseas at the time. Definitely was an interesting experience
