Well, Im an AMT at FDX so I meet a lot of you pilots and your office is often my office. MD11, MD10, 727, Airbus A300/310.

Nightflyer Jason, when you doing the northwest route again?

I also like the Master Caution light switch. I also like to call my 993 spoiler the Stab Trim.

When I was active duty Navy, I was a 'professional' pilot - every time I took the aircraft out

He's probably not far wrong , three of my work colleagues run 993's and I've had occasion to chat to another rennlister by mail recently , only to discover that he too is a pilot by trade..
I can see why it would be the 'pilots choice' .. It's got that wonderful mechanical yet bulletproof feel that we (mostly!!) enjoy in our occupational lives.
So how many of us are logging on here??

I fly the B-777 for American Airlines, and the C-17 for the Air Force Reserves. I also have two 993's, one for the street and one for the track.

Jody,
I'll be up there next month on the 4th, 5th, 18th, and 19th. Unfortunantly, they're all the short layover.

Not a professional pilot but have been a certified airplane nut-job since (as my Irish dad would say) "I was knee-high over a grasshopper."

"On my own dime" I have been flying (1,000 hrs) (and skydiving (1,200+ jumps)) since the early 90's.

Have a wee hankerin' to try helicopters later on this year. We'll see.

Pilots and Porsche's? -- >

UPS 767 FO. Great plane. Best office view in the world! Landing at Boeing Field - you can see the pilots saying "Woooooooo Baby!"

Rick,

Nice office, but from my perspective flying a Falcon is not "work". In the words of Napoleon Dynamite, "Luckyyy".
