Creaking normal when to body flexes/torques over driveways??
Hi all ...
Is it normal to hear creaking when the body flexes on driveways etc?? Its been happening more often to me more often...and its cause for a bit more worry.
I was thinking that its because my sway bars or strut bar being too "tense". I was thinking its because I might have to grease up something ;-)
Please advice!!
Thanks...

I don't remember hearing any creaks going up my driveway, maybe just a little, but since I have the pss9 installed, it does it every time and mine is a cab too. I am glad you guys said it's normal.

My C4S does.
I have a strut brace in front but mine creaks from the rear glass area when I back out of the driveway at an angle. It's done that since I've owned it. No noise at all from the front. You'd think my 79SC with the big targa glass would creak but it's quiet.

Is it possible that some of the creaking is coming from the front sway bushings? I hear a bit of creaks etc from the windshield but the worst sound is going over speed bumps. My 928 used to do this and I pulled out the little dust covers inside the front struts. Wondering if the 993's have similar dust covers in the struts that could cause some creaking reverberating through the body in addition to sway bar bushings? I think I need to lube the sway bushings first in my case....used Pedro's Ice Wax in moderation on the windshield and lately haven't really noticed noise. I think it reduced that a little bit but it seems all these things could be the source of creaks, squeaks etc.
