i fail to understand people's reluctance to seeing this happen. a challenge was issued (by someone with questionable manners) and it was accepted. and we have consenting adults on both sides.

Just caught this thread - funny stuff.

I will say that after taking a number of laps in a 996TT over the past weekend at Pocono, anyone who doubts the ability of the car will be sorely surprised. Its a Porsche through and through - after the first lap, my doubts were forever put to rest, regardless of how the oil is cooled.

Good luck to both parties if this pans out.

I don't think I am interested in your view of maturing. I prefer to do the things that sound like fun rather than be mature. Since pretty much all competition is essentially '****-fighting' then yes, it is worth it for a ****-fight.
