A good car in your budget will sell fast, a top low mileage car in most favorite colors will cost big figures more, but it be on the market for much longer. Except it goes on BAT.

You mentioned a "boot" if that was a CV boot- which often crack around 100K, you'll be replacing CV joints or repacking them- or possible new axles- just an FYI this is normal- and int he US runs around $ 2K usd to fix or replace the axles. Other wear items to watch for are the steering rack- rebuilds are available OEM replacements are getting very hard to find.

Hello everyone,
I have now visited 3 other cars.
With the "experience" accumulated here (Thanks ), I eliminated two of them, I will not send photos here for those who have a weak heart ;-)
The one I'm interested in is a "collector's car" 1996, very nice car, I'm just not super impressed with the interior colour.
It has +- 110,000 km, shock absorbers updated to Koni, new sunroof motor, perfect paint.
They are asking around 100K€
I haven't noticed anything non-functional at the moment apart from the rear trunk opening sensor which remains on.
The driver's door strap has been repaired correctly and there is no hole on the other side of the pillar (I checked with an endoscope)
I took some photos, and now at home I realize that there seems to be an "oil streak" on the front part (if I remember the angle correctly)
I'm going back tomorrow and asked to see the car on a bridge, but if you already have any opinions. :-)
Another thing, it has a 184KW, (250CV) grey card, but it is indeed a VarioRam engine.
The car has been first delivered in Germany, then was imported to France where it seems that the regulations at the time (2010) required a limitation to 250CV max.
I can't find anything on the web about it, if you have any information.
I guess it "is enough" to change the ECU" to find the original 285CV?
And here are some photos, including the trace of oil (penultimate photo).
Thanks :-)

Is this the C4S in Lille (F)?
It's certainly an interesting car (if only it had a black interior). For this kind of money I would expect the seller to deliver the car with the correct ECU and to fix the faulty sensor and any kind of oil leak, so I can leave his showroom with a correct and fault-free car. If he wouldn't, there would be no deal for me...

Hey - apologies but it is a C4? Final photo shows front strut with a driveshaft? And the oil streak is coming from the front somewhere? Front diff or PAS? For me that would certainly require some other specialist to inspect the car.
And the power restriction - can that really have been achieved by just a CPU change ? Or was the power restriction actually not done in 2010?
And what gearbox code on the underbonnet sticker?

Here is the sticker, not sure how I can decode the gearbox type with it... G20 ?

All wide-bodied cars are the later Gxx20 gearbox - the longer ratio gears. Being 4WD this one is G6420.
Replacement CPUs are expensive, but you should contact Tore of Bergvill FX https://www.bergvillfx.com/pages/about-us as he knows everything about the 993 electronics.

I never heard of anything like power limitations on French Porsche 993.....
Seems weird to me, I would have the car checked or an inspection performed by a trustful specialist or the Porsche center.

Hello,
Some news:
- I found the oil leak... It was coming from the spare wheel, probably a not correctly closed oil bottle...
- For the 250CV "limitation", I had a call to the previous owner, it was "administrative" only and the ECU is the original one.
- I paid an account
Here are some more pics:
