I suppose it depends a lot on the condition/value of the car and the condition and quality of the seats, whether they are factory and original to the car (373/374 option), or OEM added vs. Waldemar added, etc. Maybe 5-10k, if you are talking about factory hardbacks that are also factory painted (XSA option) and in great shape on a low mileage car, a lot more..
Yes, we’re talking about the factory seats with XSA option. Appreciate the feedback.
Frankly, I don't believe sports seats will add too much value to a 993. A car is always a combination of condition, maintenance records, ownerships and mileage to name the most important ones.
When you buy a car - you buy the whole package, with or without sports seats.
I believe, that sports seats, separated from a 993 are worth more than if they are included with the purchase of a 993.
In that case the value is probably around 5 - 10 K.
Just think about the turbo spoiler from the 993 TT. My car has the original turbo spoiler fitted to WB 993 4s, does that mean I would get the extra value for the highly expensive spoiler?
In don't think I would.
I don't think that's really comparable because sports seats could have been optioned on the car whereas the turbo spoiler could not.

i assume he means the aero kit wing and not the standard turbo wing. for most people, i think the sport seats hold far more value than the aero kit wing. you're right about the 'package' of the car, but if i were considering a 4S with and a 4S without sport seats - everything else somehow equal - i would put at least a $5k premium of the seat upgrade. it's a simple matter of knowing what it would take to add them, if you truly would. most of us love sport seats and i do believe they carry a premium when factoring price.

I think he meant the turbo spoiler. For two identical cars (if that's even possible) I would spend more for sport seats as well.

I stated 'original Turbo spoiler'. That piece will cost at least 10 K painted in the original color.
I would not pay that money on sports seats or the spoiler, my car came with the spoiler.

Yes I get that. My car had an original turbo spoiler as well when I bought it. I sold it on bat and it hammered at $2,800

i also have an OEM Turbo spoiler from my C4S. how long ago did you sell for that amount? the only 'Turbo spoiler' i could get to come up was a 930 tail.
