Personal observation - market has likely softened a bit. Top condition ones are still fetching very solid bids. The comments to the white C2S auction also shed a light as to where people think the market is.

No one knows where the market is going for sure. Only you can decide.

 

well… we are headed into a Recession…. what that will look like nobody knows. One thing for sure is 40 year high inflation, rising rates, stocks are down 30% on average and so on…….. . . .. .. .

 

If one follows Mecum Auctions and BAT - many more no sales than there used to be.

Also, a lot of cars are bought on credit which is getting more expensive.

In addition, the cost of having a lot of money tied up in a car vs. return from a fixed investment is something many people may consider too.

 

This will trash the market softening discussion….at least until the next one that sells for a lower price.

98, 1 owner, 33k miles, Zenith Blue on blue interior....sounds like a gem for somebody who wants it.

Clean car - looks great. Pictures don't really capture the true shade of Zenith Blue (it has more of a purple under-tone than you get in those pictures).

But...the car bounces around like a dump truck in the driving video. That's pretty terrible.

I tried to look at some of the underneath photos but couldn’t tell. It’s still sitting at SUV height so probably original Monroes. Getting rid of those original shocks was my first mod to my C4S back in 2005. I bought the M030 kit with Bilsteins. Eliminated the body roll and wandering over bumps.

Yeah relatively easy fix and better performance. KW v3 has been great for me.

Certainly not a detractor from buying the car for those in the know.

I'm very curious on when we'll see the market drop some, I'm guessing as we head into winter. By then interest rates will go up more and some economic negatives will become more clear.

 

Wish they made Zenith Blue with a Black interior and not the weird color interiors.
