993 WB Values are UP!!!

Not all 997.1 turbos are created equal. That said, one can never compare (in present day) any watercooled to the allure of a widebody aircooled classic. Rather than deal with it, those who commented in comparison need to study Porsche heritage a little bit more before they type nonsense like that. I've had both in the garage for multiple years, there is nowhere to start a comparison between cars. For what it's worth, when I downsized, I kept the 997.1 turbo and sold all 993s, however, that decision was unrelated to the turbo and more to having 5 aircooled at the same time. 964s won't go anywhere anytime soon. #PorscheON!

^ Very nice. I think that interior is great.

Agree - hardbacks, extensive records, top end done, many upgrades, original paint and more - all of that plus a unique color scheme makes this car a fai buy for anyone looking to get into a WB 993. THE HBs are worth $10K+ and the maintenance and upgrades are worth a bunch too.

I've noticed that many of these widebodies are arctic silver, not polar silver. Very few narrow body cars with arctic silver and most are polar. Hmm...

Polar was a standard color in MY'95 and '96. Arctic replaced Polar as standard in My'97 and '98. (You could still get Polar, but it was expensive and rare).
The 4S were made in MY '96, '97 and '98. The 2S only in '98 (instead of narrow bodies).
So most (not all) of the production run on the wide bodies overlapped with Arctic.
Most (again not all) of the production run on narrow bodies overlapped with Polar.

I've been waiting for a wide body with Nephrite hard backs for a long time.... Working with Paul at Auto Kennel was a great experience!
