And finally, I am also having Patrick fit an RSR fender flare kit. I already have the RS Clubsport aero package so this is something I've always wanted to do.
Ready to start the RSR conversion... no going back now.

Props for ambitions to create your vision of the ultimate 993!
I was great to see you step up and properly tune the TPC now this. I have similar plans for the trans, I only want to change 1st and 2nd. Didn't know they could machine and weld on new gears. That would certainly open up some options. If I go down a similar path I would use the 97 input shaft as a basis though. The 96 is know to warp under high power hence the revision in 97.
While I am sorry for your engine woes it does seem like another opportunity to upgrade. You'll be shocked what cams can do for you at this stage. I used the DC21 on a 116 LSA to create a REALLY broad flat torque curve. Something similar to that would work well for you too.
I am sitting on some ECU's so if you're tempted by Motec, Syvecs or Emtron let me know, I'll hook you up.

Thanks - the 97 input shaft is interesting- I'll look into it. I met with Patrick last night and discussed the options. The only slight issue is that aftermarket gears are noisy(er) and they are recommending I may want to use Porsche gears for 1 and 2 which would nesecitate a main shaft. Euro RS 1st is available. Since my 3rd is damaged I may end up replacing 1 through 3. Any thoughts?
Interested in the Motec- send me a PM! Cheers.

They started on the engine build and as suspected there was some signs of wear, not much, but enough to warrant the tear down. Of more concern was the scorch marks on the heads and cylinders indicating some blow by so that will all be addressed. Taking the opportunity to enlarge to 3.8 and looking into some custom cams to really take advantage of the low down torque available from the supercharger. More to come.

Meanwhile things are progressing well in the bodyshop. They are using threaded inserts to ensure the fender and quarter extensions are properly mounted to the body. Very nice attention to detail.

love to see how your car with the blower feels compared to my c2s with the proto tech twin set up

Supercool! Probably quite different - mine is all low down torque changing at max 5500 or 5700 revs. I've never driven a turbo 911 to compare.
