Hello Foxman
just went through your tread ...
And i thought, i'm the only one who is absolute nuts ....
Great build, and as usual some ideas, i didn't thought of ... more things to do!
for this...
however, I found another easier solution ...
I simple removed that piece of metal completely
My targeted weight right now is 1,100kg / 2,420lbs. Where are you now, i might have overlooked it?

Well done, love the look and that rain cutter delete really brings out those lines, much better. Absolutely sharp car.

The decals show a Saluki, that's our desert dog here in the Middle East
I considered 3 options against the common Mobile Pegasus decal, the porkasus pink pig, the Bullasus an the Saluki. Decided on the Saluki as appreciation of the shop which did the welding work / paint and also as the most related local racer
I used since a long time 322mm (Turbo) Gyrodisks with the 'standard' caliper with spacer and the break performance is mostly perfect for the track. Couldn't resist the big reds as i got them for a very good price. Advantage would mostly be that they can transfer more and faster heat away from the break as they have a bigger pad surface, don't believe that the breaking itself will further recognizable improve.
