Porsche Classic Radio

Pp000830,
My iPhone has a GPS receiver that is always on. The cell service provides the map interface. You can preload maps via Google or “Here WE GO” and get turn by turn audio with up to date maps even without cell service. It’s a miracle.

You can update the maps in the Porsche classic radio via a microSD card. Whether you would bother or not is debatable... I will not because I really don't use the navigation function on mine. I bought it for the other features which it does quite well.

Yes, That’s what they were saying I also noticed that it was discontinued a few places so I went with the continental. 996 is interesting for me too...I have a 996 turbo and the radio is awful plus it has some fiber optic system that can’t be easily upgraded hopefully that is true also.
