Good timing cause snowflake is a dumpster fire. I remember when it was going IPO my firm was helping with a lot of the VC/IB details and it screamed just another nonsense software company. Glad I stayed away

this sounds like an interesting mix. I wish content would go back to using physical places and props and move away from bad cgi, sigh...

i hear they are offering pretty decent pay packages for ATC with the shortages around the country. now if only they'd let you do hotlaps around the airfield as one of the benefits

There are! Lots of my partners are car guys (…or boat guys). The job also appeals to guys who love to drive fast (…Code 3 calls, vehicle pursuits, etc.).

@PHX I've become kind of addicted to watching Youtube ATC videos - VASAviation being the most frequent.

It's incredible to me how ATC and pilots can understand each other using rapid fire lingo over cross-talk and static.

We can almost form our own city with the gamut of professions on here.

I used to drop fries in my teenage years, so don’t worry about who is going to run our burger shop.

Been flying since June 1989, I was 17. Current airline 25 years and four at a previous airline. Appreciate you controllers, we have our own language. Wife tells me that I talk to her and our Daughter like I’m talking to ATC. I think ground controller at JFNK would be a bitch.

Anything from tech to law firm partners. Most of them are at a point where they don’t even know if they’re hiring 😂

If anyone is hiring for anything remotely interesting, PM me. I’m thinking about starting a new career. I need a new challenge.
