I realize you are a new member having just joined RL less than two months ago, but the custom and practice here is to not hijack the OP topic or thread. However, you are strongly encouraged to just start a new thread about home building and have at it. Otherwise, you are clogging up everyone’s inbox with a topic they are not interested in as jhenson29 and others point out above.

[QUOTE=jstap808;19556586]in that case every thread on this forum should be labeled rabbit hole cause there always deviation from the og topic lol. I just wish the search function worked better so you can actually find what you’re looking for in the millions of responses.[QUOTE]

Yes and it is mostly done by new members and is generally considered inconsiderate. Just start a new thread and then knock yourself out.

Use Google instead of the RL search function.

Exactly my situation. I was a "high earner" and my save-the-world wife is a teacher, making <$60k/year.

Me too…although my wife left the corporate world to raise our kids when they were young and never went back. Got her education degree in her early 40’s.

I’m just starting out and trying to figure out my direction. It’s cool to see someone who’s managed to blend such varied interests into their career. I’ve been considering getting into the medical field, and I stumbled upon some great info about medical assistant programs. If you or anyone here knows about good schools, this site might be a good start: https://www.onlytradeschools.com/medical-assistant/. I’m still exploring options, but it's nice to hear about others' journeys. Your story is definitely motivating!
