Wow those MC20 prices have really tanked.

Nothing wrong with a Z06, except its very uncomfortable. Getting in and out, that high center button panel, very confining interior. GM took a mid engine car and designed a front engine cabin for it, it has zero design elements that allow the cockpit to be opened up, which are possible when the engine and drivetrain are behind the driver. Hopefully the C9 will fix that, the C8 interior is a mess.

For prior gen Maseratis this was definitely true, but do you know this for a fact for the new Maseratis?

The MC20s and Grecales, I don't there's enough data out to extrapolate any generalizations from.

I pass by my local Aston and Maserati dealers almost daily and funny enough is they tend to have more 911s in their used inventory than their own cars 😂 I think Aston has a decent CPO plan now but 911 for most remains the perfect sports car.

So, this would imply a lot more people who by a new Aston or Maserati did so by trading in their 911 and not an older Aston or Maserati? Not sure that is a good thing for the 911 reputation.

You can bet that the best way to get a good deal at an Aston or Maserati dealer is to drive up in a 911. They want those customers, bad.

Not really - these dealers go after 911 bec they sell fast and will not lose them any money.

You do know why the 919 and then the 918 exist don't you ? EU emissions prototype testing of hybrids . Ultimately the goal was less emissions and that had to become EV .

You both look it from the dealer side and not the customer side - the dealer side benefit does not change the fact that apparently it tells us more 911 users are willing to trade-in their 911 for an Aston/Maseratori users than trading in an Aston/Maserati

My son got a Z06 that he picked up in Arizona last week. $117k msrp and no ADM. We put 500 break in miles on it in two days on southern Arizona roads. I am thoroughly impressed. Normally aspirated 670hp flat plane crank. An epic car.

I disagree. Maybe this puts me in the minority around here but I don't have to have a sports car to enjoy life. I can come up with lots of other fun stuff to blow my money on. If I don't see something that appeals to me for what I consider to be a reasonable amount of money then that's fine, and I'm not going to blindlessly throw money at Porsche to fill a void in my life. I bought the 992 because it appealed to me. With the direction that Porsche is heading in, I'm not sure I'll feel the same about future iterations.

The Cybertruck looks like a Star Trek First Generation Shuttle craft ... Sulu and Spock in the front seats. I contend they are a flame out. :-)

Yep. There are so many things to spend money on. 200k for a car Porsche makes 50k+ a year is not it.
