Edit: my mistake. somehow thought the video was comparing the 992.1 GTS vs the 992.2 GTS. It was actually the 992.2 base vs 992.2 GTS. But yes, the GTS seems to sound louder (likely due to 'fake' engine sounds being transmitted into the cabin) but lose the 911 howl..

Unequal length headers will undoubtedly change the tone. I’ll have to hear it in person.

The GTS 4.0 I came from had the GPFs installed even for NA cars (although inactive) which drastically changed the sound for the worse.

For NA the 992.1 did not come with GPF, so this is the biggest change in sound everyone is hearing.

This is a simple enough fix, but may be costly with the new design.
