I saw the 992.2 in real life yesterday. I usually have no problems getting used to a new design. But after RL made me aware of the plastic part on the rear lights I must say it looks way cheaper than the old one. I have some pictures for comparison which I will post in 2 parts. First some good parts.
Lugano Blue looks amazing. I was a bit concerned that i ordered my 992.2 in Lugano Blue without seeing it in person, but the more actual photos I'm seeing, the more I like it!
This lugano blue example appears to have the sport design package painted in gloss black. Porsche is now charging us extra to add a touch more paint to the standard bumper instead of leaving it half unfinished plastic lmao.

Oh I was unaware that prior to the 992.2 that exterior pieces painted in gloss back was free.

Guess you're also unaware then that prior to 992.2 the sport design package actually came with a different bumper that was either painted body color or gloss black not simply the standard bumper with a tiny bit more body paint or gloss black. And yes I know the 992.2 front sport design bumper is ever so slightly different but the sport design side skirts and the sport design rear bumper are exactly the same design as the standard bumpers.
Sad part is that suckers like me will and have ponied up for the sport design kit not necessarily because I want to but more because the car looks unfinished without it --- which will only reinforce Porsche to use more and more plastic and not invest in actually making the sport design kit a different design in the future.

No I was aware excuse my sarcasm. Like everything nowadays it’s nickel and dime
We all have different tastes and sometimes you have to pay to get the look you feel is good
Personally I like the new 992.2 base front and rear bumpers
I've seen lugano blue on the Panamera and sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it ---- really depends on the lighting and much like shark blue it can appear too bright/cartoonish in certain lightings. If you look at online ads of shark blue they'll all look drastically different with some even looking exactly like the lugano blue pictured here. Undeniably though side by side, lugano is several shades darker.
And couldn't agree more on the wheel gap --- hope the aftermarket has coilovers/lowering springs ready to go in the near future.

Good to know info here regarding LB. As a former owner of SB, I fully agree with the second portion of the first sentence.
