Where are the laws mandating electrification of heavy duty vehicles, ships , planes , and other high polluting machinery?
Climate change is real, but the policies don’t address the real problem.
The earth is getting warmer, I don’t doubt the science, but if you think all we need to do is electrify private transportation you’re deluded.
It’s not an all in effort, so since the policies aren’t all encompassing I’m going to continue to enjoy my ICE vehicles.
Half hearted attempts are less than convincing.

I applaud everyone purchasing and enjoying EVs, im in no way attempting to deprive them of their enjoyment.
Just don’t judge me before you judge the most egregious violaters.

I own an EV, and a plug in hybrid. Also am fully battery on snow blowers, lawn mowers/equipment, etc. BTW, the EV is a fantastic vehicle. Do I wish it had more mileage, sure, but for 98% of the trips I take it's perfectly fine. Also,I didn't buy them because of the environment if anyone asks. I bought them for the tech, and driving experience, and my wife hates getting gas...which means I was the one getting it.

But yeah, I recently bought a Porsche 911 (then sold another ICE SUV for the Hybrid...for the 2% of the trips I take that are > 300 miles). Heck, 1 out of 3 vehicles isn't horrible plus it's my lowest mileage vehicle. I use maybe 15-20 gallons of fuel a month. The more we all do, hopefully will start to make an impact.

Seriously, if you think climate change isn't real, you need to remove the tin foil. Maybe folks could care less about their kids, kids, kids. But I'm all for doing what we can (within reason, being key here) to start to slow down what has been happening due to fossil fuels and other environmental ****.

Plus, who gives a **** if ICE cars are no longer produced by 2035. Seriously, who cares? EV's are already at a point where they are pretty much as good as ICE cars outside of "refuel" time and number of "gas" stations. In 11 years? They will have far surpassed ICE cars in tech and performance, the infrastructure will be significantly better, and/or something even cleaner will have come along and be replacing EVs. It's not like someone is coming out and saying you can no longer drive a vehicle at all come 2035 and removing a right and freedom or something.
