Everything I've read online all say the same thing: no manual for the hybrid bc too complicated as the car will be AWD just like the Carrera 4, GTS Targa 4, Turbo, Turbo S, etc. which all have PDK transmissions which is the sole available one for those cars.

It could happen.
That’s pretty interesting.
It wasn’t ever a thing here.
Still a thing. In Europe at least. Wheels will be safe though. ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

even back in the early 2000's there were hydro stores everywhere that you could walk in to and buy Metal halide or Hi Pressure sodium lamps that were far superior for the purpose. 996 headlights were xenon i think?

To be honest, I welcome since I really hated the porsche pedal position on my pdk 718 GT4 and other 911s as well.
The brake pedal is too much oriented to the right side, leaving a lot of blank space between the footrest and the brake pedal, making it hard to do left foot braking on track.
It is such a shame that I cannot do LFB on a light weight MR/RR road going kart like vehicles. (Just to be clear, 1400kg is lightweight enough for today's standard....)
I wish with 992.2, they don't leave the space for the clutch so that the brake pedal can be positioned more towards the foot rest, so that the pedals can be well separated.
I know that the manual matters, but if I wanna drive manual, i would just go with Miata just for fun.
For me, porsche vehicles are the track machine, to pursuit the fastest laps.

Fron everything I have heard about the expected power numbers of the 992.2 GTS, a 4.2L would not really do it.
Of course, theoretically a 4.2L could (and would), but not if it had to meet emissions and make it feasible for PAG to offer a 4/50 warranty period.
