And the new Cayenne looks to have it as well. With Taycan and 992.2 refreshes coming, would guess they all will have the option available.

Point taken about the motto, but if inexpensive Mazda MX5 Miata can have a double wishbone suspension in its category, so can 911.

If they gave you everything, what’s there to sell you on the next generation?

How about disruptive innovation? Double wishbone is 1950 tech

I just want a Dakar/Safari/Roughroads option for a 992.2 T or S, with a manual. That's all I ask. Please Porsche, please.

is there any possibility that the same 3.6 na being used in base/s, especially in s without hybrid, hence manual availability? i am asking since i need to make decision on whether to take a .1 c2s allocation with june build. main reason why i want a .1 is for the analog tachometer, but if .2 s has a manual with 3.6na I would no doubt take it over .1 even with full digital dash. thx!

fair enough, but would you say you consider the source reliable? and the source is sure about the lack of a manual?

I was seriously considering a 992.2 with a mild hybrid NA engine, but the no-manual kills it for me...
