By releasing on Tycan first cheapens it. Porsche forgetting that 911 comes first (or they think it's a trash option and 911 owners would never want it).
Indeed. I just got back from China and a lot of the domestic EVs over there have illuminated logos in their lightbars. Here's the Aito M5 (and yes, I saw the logo light up).

The option makes the car look cheap and is quite tacky.

Is it me or does this rear end look like a knock off Macan....
The video is suggesting a mid 2025 introduction for the 992.2 (base, S etc) which means a 2026 model year. That would be shocking. Here is a look at the previous generations:
-997.1 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 (4 years)
-991.1 2012.5, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 (4.5 years)
-992.1 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 (5 years already)
I think the above strongly suggests that the 992.2 will be a model year 2025 and will be produced later this year. It would be really strange to have the same version (992.1) for 6 model years. I just can't see that happening but of course could be wrong.
