in my opinion Cartagena is not bright enough and more pastel, I would like it to be closer to Acid green or Birch green

 

I wonder where Andreas Preuninger is going to say the inspiration for these current VW colors came from?

It looks like it belongs on an economy car. Lugano Blue is a nice add though. They should have added a nice green, but probably didn't because so many people are paying PTS to get Oak Green, Racing Green etc.

 

LB looks to be an improvement over SB. It would be nice to see LB in direct sunlight.

 

Funny, but in his defense, it's not a GT car launch color, so he most likely had no input.

 

I know, work with me here. He's been the only Porsche employee to be vocal about selecting a color like this.

 

I like the guy a lot but he also prefers black on black, which I'd never do and thinks buckets should always be optioned, which I wouldn't do since I don't track and also do long road trips. Everything else, I like about the guy. lol

 

@kalachkin did he have a sample of Shade Green? I heard a lot of people saying it is more pastel than metallic.

 

shade green has been out there, do a search for Dakars. Shade Green was the launch color.
No metallic in Shade Green. I think it looks cool. Its the green version of Chalk


edit, I didnt realize they actually called it SGM. I stand corrected! I saw no metallic in it when I saw it last fall

Shade green is shown on the USA 992.2 configurator also.

 

Too much green in that yellow. But color is a matter of personal taste.
