I just bought these paddles to go onto the shifters that I bought via the group buy a few weeks ago. This is a great deal for such a significant upgrade versus stock. Im glad I checked the forums at 11.20pm on a Friday night

Hi folks!

I thought I’d pass along that I just got a notification that the OE Weissach Magnesium paddles are back in stock!! Looks to be 6 sets only.

I bought a set and these are the real deal, and much cheaper than Suncoast’s $5295 (you have to buy the whole wheel and add these for $1500)!!

I also had already purchased the JQ Werks, which are absolutely great btw, and plan to do a comparison video when work cools down a bit!

I had a paddle fail two days after installation last week. The magnet came out of its housing and kept the microswitches from being activated. JQ quickly sent me a replacement and the new one has the second adjustment angle that the first one didn't have. Definitely annoying that they don't match now.

Yikes not good to hear. At least their service was good to replace it for you.

I haven't opened mine up yet, but would it be possible to glue the magnet into it's housing to prevent it from falling out? I wouldn't want this to fail years down the line.

Wow that’s bad. Fail rate should be zero basically. There was a lengthy thread on bimmerforums about whether there was a warranty or not for JQ group buy, didn’t read too closely. Interestingly found a warranty card of sorts hiding in the box. Not that it really matters they’re either going to be responsive or not. Seems they are at least
