Finally got over that top connector…other than that it was a breeze.
I adjusted the paddles all the way inward - Better for my long fingers. I picked the long paddles as that allows me to hold the steering wheel right where the sport steering wheel has the grips and still have plenty blade left to shift. After a quick test drive works nice…I do think the throw is a bit longer than I expected but assume that is not adjustable.
I installed mine a couple of days ago. Surprised at how easy it was. Took 30 minutes, start to finish, which included waiting 10 minutes after disconnecting the battery.
Nicely designed part, and immensely satisfying tactile experience.
But I don't care for the carbon fiber paddles. They work fine, but are out of place in my interior - have no other bits of CF. And I don't think billet aluminum will cut it, either - would be similarly out of place. Anybody have thoughts on finishing options for aluminum? Matte black anodized?
I am about to install these. Hope it looks good with my yellow center tach.
One question - anybody happen to have a photo how the steering wheel looks with that yellow/green connector detached. I am reading if I dont do that right I may break the coil spring but have no visual how that looks with connector properly removed?
So i dont want the CF paddles and your option looks fantastic. What did you do to get that metal look done? Any details are appreciated!!
Looks like spray paint as you can still see the weave.
Nope, its OEM Porsche aventurine green and clear on top. On close-up the weave is still a bit visible but installed not really visible or bothering me.

it will be similar finish to the oem gt3rs paddles.
Installed tonight, so far so good. Gotta clear a CEL guessing from batt disco.
In case anyone is debating small or large paddles here is a pic of stock vs. larger paddles which are what I’m using.
it’s cool seeing gauge light through the -/+, no issues with blocking view not like you can see the actual data on 1st and 5th anyway.
The throw is way longer than stock. Magnetic action with shorter stock throw would be ideal, but not really complaining, as despite the short throw of stock paddles they are mushy as heck and feel heavy. The long throw makes the angle adjustment rather important imo. I copied the angle to wheel of stock.
Make sure you tighten down both type of set screws. There are a set of (2) per side that you change wide/narrow - then another set of (1) per side which control how close or far from the wheel the paddles sit.
I was having the 'mooshy' feeling when pulling back because I hadn't tightened down the one set that controls how close/far the paddles side to the steering wheel. The wide/narrow set was obvious yet somehow I missed the other set screw.
So any advice from people that have installed to keep from getting a CEL or Airbag warning? I don't want to have to go to dealer to have things cleared if possible. I should get them this week.

Thanks!!
Just make sure you have the battery disconnected for at least 10 minutes.
1.) Roll down windows and leave driver’s side door open.
2.) Disconnect negative terminal on battery, put a shop towel over the negative post of battery.
3.) Re-read 30x a RL post about how to perform procedure to make sure you don’t screw up your car while you wait 10mins.
4.) Gather all of the tools you’ll need and set them in passenger seat.
5.) Let all of your years of playing Operation guide you in removing connectors behind airbag.
