I have a '24 992. Doubt the ECU is any different than any other model year. Will chalk it up to "installer error"/finicky install. We'll see next driving season!
if you haven’t already, you could call customer service at Cargraphic. I had a small issue and they were responsive and helpful.

I've got a 2024 with a Cargraphic and it works flawlessly. Then again, I only have about 400 miles on it, but the last 200ish miles that were driven with it installed have been problem free.

I have an inquiry into SST on their units. Seeking to confirm compatibility with Carrera Base, S models. They are on Vacation until mid - Aug, so I will advise once I hear back from them.

During removal everything was secure. Wires weren't melted and the unit was still secure on the alternator cover. Maybe the zipties to secure excess wires were a bit too tight? Either way, after removal I opened up the cargraphic controller and nothing was loose or needed to be "clicked" in. Went for a short drive and CEL went away which was a relief.

My unit is version B so not sure if it's defective or not. It possibly can't handle heat during crazy summer temps or electrical interference being on top of the alternator. I locked the car and kept the key in a faraday box like most suggested during install which I didn't do initially.

I'll give the unit another try next summer and will purchase the flat6motorsports mount as well. I'll lock the car, store the key away, secure the wires but give enough slack so the connectors aren't in constant tension. Either way, not gonna bother reinstalling it again this summer... Not worth the frequent electronic gremlins, oh well...
We’ve spoken to the manufacturer, and if you have this issue, they recommend opening up the box and making sure that the connectors are plugged in within the box. They could’ve become a little dislodged which would cause error

cargraphic is very helpful when it comes to troubleshooting these issues.

here is Michaels direct email

I heard back from them. They are working on a 992.1 3.0L turbo control unit, but not released yet and no ETA so far.

Sorry if asked and answered, but treat very long. Do I need to disconnect battery while doing the install?

Thanks in advance

No.

The shape of the box and orientation of the wires/cables which makes the previous aftermarket mounting solutions not compatible. So you gotta use zip ties once again or make your own mounting solution.
