Put my car back to stock. Removed exhaust along with valve controller. The difference in sound is insane.

Have this controller installed over 2,000kms and no issues until recently.

Upon starting ignition with valves closed the sports exhaust button light flickers. After driving and switching off ignition and locking the car, I see that the sports exhaust button continues to light up.

I can still operate the valves as intended but the sports exhaust button flickering is bugging me.

anyone facing the same issue or has some guesses to what the problem is?

Spoke to Cargraphic about this...AND we had 2 other cases like this. This will hopefully get you fixed up. "Yes - unfortunately we have already had very few cases where the control unit did not work properly due to a loose plug in the housing.

In the described case, I would recommmend to open the control unit by simply unscrewing the four screws in order to check whether all the plugs are properly seated or not.

For further questions please do not hesitate to contact me, thank you.

@SupremePower is that an actual fix? Because I just opened the housing on mine and pressed down on all four plugs to make sure they’re plugged in fine, but still facing the issue.

checked the valve connectors and they’re plugged in fully too.

in the housing, a blue LED lights up sometimes but not sure what that actually means.

Received mine from @SupremePower and installed it the other day. One thing that I’ve noticed is since I’ve installed it, I’ve had the engine error pop up on 2 separate occasions. First time was after I had been driving and we stopped for lunch for a couple hours. Went to start it up and immediately got 2 errors on the display. I could not get the controller to revert back to the OEM valves using the remote. The valves were in the open position. Drove for about 15 mins to my next destination and after a couple of hours, started it back up and with no codes. Had my second one today, started my car up to back it out of the garage with no codes. Washed my car and started it back up to move it into the garage and got the errors again. Immediately turned it off and started back up and codes were gone. Both times when this happened, I would select sport plus on the **** before starting the car and would get the error. Each time after, I would start in normal mode and have not gotten the error. I don’t know if it’s because my startup sequence is causing the errors to pop up. So for now, I’ll start in normal mode and switch over to sport plus once the car is running. For reference, mine is MY2021.

I get the error message if I shut off the car with the valves open. So I typically close the valves before turning off the engine. On occasion I get the message even if I closed the valves. I turn off the engine and restart the car and it goes away.

I've had the Cargraphic valve controller for about six months and I get intermittently get the error message upon start up regardless if the valves were closed or left open after prior drive. It no longer bothers me. All I do is turn on the car to "accessory" mode first. If the error message is present, I turn ignition counter-clockwise to off mode and wait a second or two and then start the car. Error message is gone and the car graphic controller functions normally. I also noticed that it's more likely to happen if the car has been sitting for a few days since the prior drive. Perhaps it's due to the battery draining a bit ? Just speculation on my part.

I too get this error message very rarely and have found your approach to resolve it every time. I thought I read somewhere that a person used some high heat lube on the valve actuator shaft and that put an end to the error message. Neext time I'm under mine I'll give it a try...particularly now that my actuators are so easy to get to with the iPE exhaust.

Do you have any sound clips of your car?

I just moved this unit from a GTS to a TTS and I'm getting sputtering when the car is parked. It's exactly three sputters each time maybe every 30 seconds or so while in park. When in drive it's fine. Didn't happen on the GTS. Anyone else experience this?

Nope, but I used this video from brother Tobeit to make my decision and am very happy with it! Also got mine for under $1800 on sale from Flat6 so it wa too good to pass up.

I too recently installed the cargraphic valve controller, and it did indeed open up alots of volume in low RPM. I love it. I think this is a solid mod that can be easily applied. It took me about 30min without lift, 20 min of time was to figure out how to route and tuck excess wires.

I see some of us have issue with error message after a while and want to do a preventive action.
@Vicbastige when you mentioned the valve actuator, which are you referring to? Is this the flap inside of the pipe (hmm, i guess that is the valve itself).

thank you

The “flap” is the disc. The actuator is the black body that rotates the stem attached to the disc (it’s what the valve cable plugs into).

I’m curious, for those of you seeing errors, was the key fob within operating range of the vehicle during install?
