See, this is exactly what my wife and I want to do (if I ever get an allocation for a Targa 4S). We want to take some long distance trips to see parts of the United States where we have never been. What I would like to know is what items are a must to take with you on a long distance trip. For example, I plan on taking a bucket and car wash detergent to wash off bugs, etc., and probably some tools. What do you (or anyone else) recommend to take with you on these long distance trips?

what great photos. what's is interesting is just how easy the 4s can get thru anything ... even my 2 with decent snow tires can get thru our winters. i can't recall a single time i have gotten stuck, even in heavy snow conditions. the 4 feels definitely much more in control while the 2 just loves to slide ... and if you know your cars limits and how to drive in snow / wet conditions i can think of anything (that i have driven) that puts a bigger smile on my face.

Love it, don't know what tires he has on, but had he put on some Hakka 10 studded he wouldn't have had any problems. Love the light bar, considering the frunk version from my younger days on my 911T and Alpine, Audi Quattro etc.
The conclusion is drive them fer cryin out loud! Thanks for sharing
