I still have a few weeks before my next 992 build closes and I'm definitely not getting the lightweight glass again given all the problems GT owners are having. I'm looking for a C4S to pound daily driving miles on. Do you recommend the wiper? I may have to get one on mine. I didn't miss it on my last car but then again I never got caught in a bad rain while I owned it.
it adds a bit je ne sais quoi and character to the car, which i like. we get 10" of precip a year so it's not used much. but it's nice for a quick wipe if it rains or snows when parked.

C4S is a good daily. I have about 27k on mine in 14 months.

It keeps the snow from accumulating when driving below highway speeds.

Geez, I could not have traded that rare beauty. Were you able to get PTS approved on your 2024 C4S allocation?

They are actually for sale right now if you're interested (just swapped the tires onto another set of wheels, and these are clean and ready for a new home)...

Not because I intended to drive my 992 in inclement weather but….

…post SoCal hail storm about a month ago when I had to bring my car to the dealership for the windshield to be replaced.

Generally speaking, my 992 is not driven on anything but a dry sunny or overcast day.

On Sunday, rolled up alongside a guy in a 911 Speedster with the top down. After an exchange of waves, he pulled off, probably to put the top up. 54 degrees.....
