I agree. There was nothing wrong with your question.
The line is so tired for sure.
Exactly! Somebody must’ve told him it was catchy or something.
The line is so tired for sure.

On a golf tour in Ireland, Tiger Woods drives his brand new 992 Targa GTS into a petrol station in a remote part of the Irish countryside. The pump attendant obviously knows nothing about golf, greets him in a typical Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro is.
Top of the mornin’ to yer, sir” says the attendant.
Tiger nods a quick “hello” and bends forward to pick up the nozzle. As he does so, two tees fall out of his shirt pocket onto the ground.
“What are dose? asks the attendant.
“They’re called tees” replies Tiger.
“Well, what on the god’s earth are dey for?” inquires the Irishman.
“They’re for resting my ***** on when I’m driving”, says Tiger.
“Fookin Jaysus”, says the Irishman, “Poorsh thinks of everything!”
Top of the mornin’ to yer, sir” says the attendant.

Dogs are best. My wife and I have had 6 during our marriage. Everyone of them has a unique personality. Love the intensity and eyes of your pup.

For many of us, they are great comfort. I’m 100% sure, if my wife had to chose between me and any of our pups, I would be out on the street.
As a side note, over the years, we have had the sorrow of having to say goodbye to our companions. I consider myself a pretty stoic person…but not when it comes to making the decision to say goodbye to one of my dear 4 legged companions. I always cry like a baby. I’m a coward when it comes to making the decision to say goodbye.
