Had a few 991.1s Targa 4GTS and a 992.1 version. Ran them all as daily's decided to go for a GTS 2WD Pdk Cab after 14 months with the last 992.1Targa 4GTS, so glad i did whist the Targa is the better looking, IMO. The GTS Cab is is much more fun to drive as a 2WD car, moves around a lot more, you can have the roof down more often as you dont have to pull over to lower it, also a lot less wind noise.
Cab back end looks more like a Beetle than a 911. The only Cab that’s attractive is the TurboS as the wide haunches make that awful bulging Beetle *** look flatter. The rest of the Cabs are just ugly.

The Targa is gorgeous.
Cabriolet gets my vote over Targa, but all personal opinion. I agree on the Cab's big butt. I plan on ordering with Sport Design packages, which moves the license plate to the center of bumper. IMO it reduces the thickness (Beetle look) in the rear.
LOL how do you figure? It’s the heaviest, has the highest COG, and is saddled with AWD, but not a Turbo.
Great looking for sure, but for me a non-starter being AWD, which I’m surprised hasn’t been mentioned.
I agree. All due respect to Detansinn, he definitely suffers from the “my car/spec is always the best and I will always defend it” syndrome that is so common on these forums
The Targa is gorgeous, I will give it that. But how is it more “fun” to drive? All of that rear glass stuff is totally unnecessary and it’s a product of an earlier time.
For me, a RWD cabriolet gives you all of the magic of a drop top without any of the unnecessary items. Plus without that glass barrier you can hear the roar of the engine even better. And that is a huge chunk of the visceral fun
Love the body-coloured outer rim of the wheels. Was that factory or did you get it done aftermarket? My shark blue GTS needs that on the stock centerlock wheels!
