If you have the matrix laser light, you should be able to enable them is my guess.

No. I changed them to reflect your suggestions and then the inverse of what I originally had but *** is still present in Normal mode in both cases.

You should be able to do this via PCM

Default Rear lights on with DRL/DDLs

I wanted to enable my tail lights to be on with the DRL/DDLs. To enable this, under BCM1:

Set ALL drl_ bitfield that are INACTIVE to ACTIVE:

drl_mmi
drl_break
sl_at_drl
drl_at_sl

drl_available should already be active of course and drl_at_indication_config should by default be FULL_AVAILABLE

Don't forget to WRITE your changes of course and save to your PC if you want a record of your mods.

IIRC, mirror dip only comes with the seat memory package which I don't have.

I have the 360 view, but I don't trust it as much as looking directly into the mirror.

Thanks!

Update to RED speedo. Seems you also need to set the Tach color to red. This neither changes the tach needle nor the background light but while before I simply changed the speedo color to RED (in Kombi) I hadn't realized about the Tach and I wasn't able to keep the speedo RED. I've not moved the car so I can't say whether it won't revert once the car moves, but I wasn't able to set it to red again until I changed to Tach color as well (see below). Hope this solves it.

Additional setting - Tach

Confirmed it works.

Informative thread. Is anybody here in SoCal that could assist with this?

Default VAL

Managed to generate a VAL for the vehicle - 767 pages worth. Can anyone chime in as to how large their file is (~11 MB)?

The problem with me being unable to generate this was there were too many DTCs. Once I cleared all of them (many were transient errors such as no communication with some module etc.) it completed it in about 15 minutes from start to finish.

If someone could post oil level measuring when changing etc. would be great.
