I checked both v.38.250 and v.40.450.020 and I can't find any mention of a parameter that would enable you to display a full speedometer vs simply the tip. If someone does find it, please post. Thank you

Default GT3 Shift Lights??

Concerning the GT3 shift light, could this be it? I've not tested it but in looking for the speedo needle I came across this.

@JB911 or @John Mclane do you have a picture of what the shift lights look like?

I tried that. Didn't work for me. The engine cuts off the moment I come to a stand still.

So first of course, thank you to @rnlst_log , @rainer , @FerdinandAG, Alex, @John Mclane, Terry...and countless others who chimed in with helpful suggestions and tips. It's been a long couple of weeks.

So to kick things off, since a few of the items I had on my bucket list have been covered in the Panamera forum and Cayenne (no doubt) here is a pointer to changing the speedo tip:

Overview -> Kombi -> Coding and Programming: (Dash Board BOSCH PO68x 001): -> Kodiertwert -> (Coding Value): Kodiertwert: Codierbyte 02 Farbe Geschwindikeitszeiger: {default WEISS} -> change to ROT

WRITE (this updates the value in the car)

SAVE (this saves the value on your PIWIS PC)

Red speedo tip

Tried this but my speedo is still white.

What software version do you have as well as vehicle year? Did you press WRITE once you changed it or simply changed it?

Check it out.
Remeber to: save then write it.

Edit: it was covered on first post. i think i am a bit drifted.

That simply turns the tip white/red/green but doesn't show a whole speedometer; at least not under v.40.450.020

I don't have the software version as I did at a shop. I believe we did "WRITE" it as both the screen went off for a few secs and came back on.

If you did do a WRITE then it should have changed the color as in the picture above. I can only suggest you find out the software version number and try it again as mine was instantaneous.

Default SRI - Service Reset Interval

Thanx to @rnlst_log we managed to decipher this convoluted process.

Staring at KOMBI, the next 9 images show the steps (I believe) are required to reset the SRI. The last image does the actual writing to the vehicle resetting the "clock" or counters so to say.

Select what function desired: oil change, service...

Select Oil change or Service Inspection or both as needed. GetribeÖl refers to gearbox oil.

Press START to write your Service to the vehicle

Does this mean that you should be able to code on the Matric lights?
