Did you have a signed buyer’s contract with the demand order to lock in the MSRP? If not when was it signed and did you initiate it or the SA?

I do not have a signed contract at MSRP, I have a verbal commitment, and that's good enough for me. This SA and dealership have kept their word every step of the way, on this allocation/purchase and prior purchase. No reason to doubt.

Just went to my dealer today. Confirmed my order with a 12/14 freeze date and an estimated 4/16 delivery😄.

Sounds like what I've heard from others also. US got about 900 cars in this last batch allocated to US dealers for the next 3 months until next allocations drop which should be early Feb for Q2 2022 cars to enter production. How that plays out amongst 160-170 US dealers will be interesting but means about 1-2 cars per dealer a month on average received doing the quick math.

Congrats...yes sounds about right....Targa GTS 4's are pretty rare allocation wise...deposit wise likely your timing an getting on the list early last summer when the GTS was announced helped alot.

Other than some really shady dealerships; most RL's have gotten the straight word on MRSP vs ADM at the time of order and are unlikely to be so surprised if they've done their due diligence. When I got my 992 last Nov I had an allocation and commission number and build sheet signed and listing the cost. Discount was verbal and also via email and my dealer kept their word and what they had signed off on at the time of ordering the car. MSRP minus a small but acceptable discount. Would not deal with a dealership that did not do similar....but yes have seen a dealer sell a car from a friend who ordered a 981 Cayman GT4 when they first came out after he sent a deposit and configured the car right before it came in so they could make $15k over MSRP! They had agree to sell him the car for MSRP + $5k which was a good deal then...but since he was out of state they claimed they couldn't sell that model car to him. Lost a customer and Porsche lost an owner...he has NOT bought a Porsche since and that was what almost 10 yrs ago....all for short term ADM gain. That is one of the problems with dealers who do that...got it that its a business but all business decisions aren't always smart ones.

my dealer confirmed my allocation, took deposit and now I got an email from track your dream. If the production date is February, why does the dealer say March delivery as I am assuming it takes 4-5 weeks to ship (doubt they are flying the cars on plane).

[QUOTE=mdrobc1213;17772035]Was he joking when he said that...$35k? And you have bought multiple cars from them? That's insulting. Wouldn't set foot back in that place unless it was the ONLY dealer in the state and then again I'd be looking for some good independent shops! That is obscene I think... $35k for a non GT3 car? Really? The GTS over the S is not that huge a leap in the 992 if you really look at it. May be a sweet spot but many YouTube reviews have already questioned some of the logic in swaping between the two models especially if you have or can get an S. Base car or older model 911..maybe an easier argument. But is it worth the S vs GTS price delta PLUS $35k...I would say no sir!

I declined the $35K ADM allocation spot for a GTS with Rusnak yesterday. Probably will wait for a turbo or sort in a year or two.

My dealer confirmed my allocation last week. They only got 1 allocation for the GTS and I was first in line. Delivery set for June 24th, 2022. Beyond stoked.

Was on the list for a S-Cab. The dealer didn’t get any allocations for it. But they were able to move me up to a GTS Cab. Allocation date Apr 2022, freeze date in March, and delivery in June.

I have a screenshot with a V200 status and O070 order status. When should i realistically expect the TYD link?

I’m still waiting for my email, and I received my commission number on 11/2/21.

My SA says they have my email entered in on the Porsche Business Partner ID, but I see nothing. I probably have to email corporate.
