does the app just show a 'track your dream' option for you? it just shows my (old) 911 gts without any indication of my dream (lol).

EDIT: the website does have it when I log in, complete with a rendering, with silver 5 lug wheels (??)

EDIT2: and now it's in the app, as well. Thanks!

Locked and loaded on a Coupe with a 3/11 completion a mere 12 months after forking over 10K$ to get in line. No ADM though.

Only if such dealers would get (much) more allocations compared to "my" dealer, it could help speed up things. What do people recommend?
The more lists you’re on, the greater the odds of getting an allocation Keep in mind that you’ll probably have to put down some $ for each list. Also, don’t be discouraged if you’re not first on a list These cars are not cheap and I think some people may be having second thoughts and back out when it’s their time to commit. Plans and finances may change, especially in today’s economy.

Me too. Have been on the fence on a couple options, lock date on TYD was 11/24. Texted SA this morning with updated code, texted back, my build is locked, production date moved forward 3 weeks. So, good news and bad news.

Curious to know if others are getting called to move up production dates like some of the above examples. My lock date isn't until end of January 22 but I'm looking for indications that it may be moved up!

Talked to my SA again today. Porsche is locking GTS builds with little notice so better get any changes in ASAP for those with the November allocation batch. I see this as good news for a hopefully quicker recovery to Porsche 992 production than much of the internet here say would have us believe.

I've gotten favorable impressions from my SA as well, as I just decided to swap my order demand from an S to a GTS and just deal with the wait- but he walked back his earlier dire estimation and suggested the wait won't be as bad as he originally thought. I took it as a positive sign; I'm sure there will be ups and downs in this process.

V070 as of today. Here we go...

You're in MD? What dealer. Also your profile pic appears to be a 911 GTS coupe in jet black metallic - is that what you have incoming? My order is with Silver Spring - build code in my sig.

I am, and it is- if you consider "incoming" as I've kindly asked Porsche to build me a car and I'm waiting for them to tell me they're ready to get started. But yes I keep telling myself that it's incoming!

And it's more of an impression than a promise. Annapolis is a small volume dealer but I love working with them and they're very close to me. I reached out about a month ago to inquire about upcoming allocations, and the tidings were grim; basically was given an estimate of 12-24 months for a GTS. Long story short I ended up putting a deposit on an S anyway, figuring I could tolerate waiting up to a year but 2 years and/or playing the ADM or multiple dealer/deposit/SA game was too tedious... but ultimately just decided to swap to a GTS anyway because I know it's what I really want and suffer through the wait. Well when I contacted my SA just yesterday, he swapped it out no problem and SUGGESTED the wait might not be as bad as initially feared. He didn't elaborate, but one reason I'm willing to wait extra is because this dealer/SA has consistently been very transparent and communicative (I ordered a Macan S from them about 2 years ago), despite their limited volume. If it reduces a 2 year wait to 15 months I'll be happy... but of course I'm secretly hoping I'll get a call in a month or two (or next week) and have an allocation ready! But I'm buckled in for the long haul, despite saying to myself many times in the past I'd never be able to wait more than a couple weeks for a car that I knew I wanted...

I mean, get an S if you are going to drop the only meaningful difference between the two cars no?

This is how I approached this as well. I've been waiting around 15 months now for my GTS allocation. It finally came in, and delivery is scheduled for spring. I don't mind the waiting - it makes the final prize all the sweeter.
