How are the allocations for GTS s. I know everything is tight right now, but are they available? Are dealers asking overs? Or are they treating them similar to GT3 allocations?
Ordered GTS Coupe and was called two days ago saying if everything goes as normal I’d have in April/May 2022. He said I would be 1 of the first 2 delivered. He wants me to lock my build mid December. Dealership is where I got my first 992 and had some issues (dashboard blacks out randomly, seal on top of my windshield melts and couldn’t even tell me and estimate to get a new one due to none available) so getting MSRP. I’ve called some other dealerships that I haven’t done business with and dealer markups are insane at the moment. One dealer said he could get me a GT3 delivered in May but expect to pay $75,000 dealer markup, that’s a hard know for me, not a $250,000 car to me. I feel like if you shop at a particular dealership and get on a waitlist you can get MSRP at least for the GTS.
hawkinsmc we will be chalk bros , hah . your build is near identical to mine. I do not see anything removed from the Canadian configurator as yet so i'm crossing my fingers for the Aerokit and to a lesser degree the black stone guards.
are your comments regarding the Aerokit because it was confirmed they are still unavailable, or are you just assuming based on previous availability? I also am planning on adding it to my GTS build hoping they will be available.
I was told by SA that Porsche confirmed the aerokit is not available until further notice.

Cool, I fell in love with Fashion Grey (which is super close to chalk) when I got my 991 years ago. I kept wanting to get chalk since they introduced it but all my Porsches until now have been cars that the dealer had in stock and chalk was never in stock. Now that I am ordering one, it's time. Unfortunately I was told that the aerokit is NOT available 😢. I have seen some aftermarket options if I really want it. Not sure I'd want to add an aftermarket wing on a brand new car though.
My dealer only received one GTS Coupe allocation this past week and doesn't expect any more Q1 builds. Pretty sure that puts me at #5 on the list and given the pace, I doubt I'll see a 2022. Oh well, at least I still have my C2 to drive; glad I didn't sell it a few months ago! At this rate, it seems I'll be looking at 992.2 in '23?
I just been offered an allocation for GTS next year with $35K ADM. I bought 2 cars from this particular dealer (my family bought total of 4 in the span of 20 years). Dealer mentioned there are total of 4 allocation for GTS in 2022 for them.
Today, I was told $20k ADM from the same place I put $1k down to get on their list. I passed on it. I understand the free market, but now I have zero loyalty to this dealer.
So stoked. Just got my commission number and V200 status today on my GTS Coupe. 3/8 freeze date and 6/3 delivery.
We’re about to be best friends, because our kids are arriving at the same time! I’m in Ohio, and you’re next door in IN, so most likely the same truck.
