Just got my allocation and placed the order today. Locking in April and said to arrive in July. Zero markup over MSRP, great local dealership.

I had an allocation for Targa GTS for Sept 2022, I’m from Canada, no ADM, but I wanted ED in 2023, so I guess I’m back in line again ☹️
Just received a text from my SA. It seems they must've received allocations recently:
They have an incoming 992 C2 Coupé incoming...due to arrive May/June. It's available at MSRP, but the configuration has locked. $130k sticker. It is a nice spec though: Black/Black, Premium Pack, Glass Sunroof, Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust, Exclusive-Design rims, etc.
He's on the east coast, so it'd be great if the car could remain local-ish, but it can be shipped. I have a good relationship with him, so he tells me about cars/allocations that may become available. You're welcome to PM me. I'd simply connect you with him, there's literally nothing in it for me besides sending a good SA business and helping a RL'er get a car at sticker.

Good point on the timing. This is a bonus car from PCNA, so it’s pre-configured and locked. I wish it was a normal allocation!
There are some other options I didn’t mention, stuff like aluminum PDK shifter, painted mirrors, painted side skirts lol. PM me if you want the build code. Just wanted to list the main options and colors in case anyone was looking!
I wired the 10k to my SoCal porsche dealer to reserve my May Allocation for July Delivery. A few days later they're like "Great! We got you locked for a March allocation, May delivery!" and I'm like no no, that won't work (I am getting a big deposit in June that is making this whole thing work financially). So I email back and forth and they're like "oh yeah, whoops, May allocation, June delivery you're good!.
Today I get the welcome to the Porsche Dream email from Porsche and it still says March Allocation, May Delivery and I'm kinda freaking out. I can't pick up the car in May!
Is it because the dealer has open allocations for mar/apr/may and they're just trying to stick me in the first slot so they don't lose it? I'm not sure how it all works. I definitely want to knock off the ADM if they force me to take the car 2 months early.
If the build hasn’t locked and even if it has I think you can still adjust your delivery option. If you choose the LA experience center that should push your deliver date out another 4-6 weeks, maybe more from what I’ve read. Maybe something to think about to add buffer.

If the build has locked, you can choose to forego PECLA, but cannot add it after the fact.

PECLA is not available for none GT or Taycans currently.
