Boost is a recorded parameter with the general logging profile. It'll likely show up as Manifold Absolute Pressure. There are a few different terms for boost that are used across different ROMs and vehicles.

We have descriptions of this in our datalogging parameters guide as well, every car and ECU are different so the naming and terminology may slightly differ or may already be converted to different units: https://m-engineering.atlassian.net/...ing+Parameters

^ Is 1003 hPa the ambient pressure we all should use?

Using that formula, in a recent datalog my boost pressure peaked at 27.8 PSI, which is insane!

And that is when I had the sport response button pushed.

In the other datalog I submitted when the SRB was not pushed, my PSI peaked at around 25 PSI.

If you did the comparisons on the same day the difference may be relevant. The atmospheric pressure changes with the barometer which changes by the hour, so if you did the test on different days it isn't as meaningful. Most data loggers record barometric pressure for that reason. Your best bet is to get a data logger that will record all of the parameters available through the OBD port. My autel will record about 60 different metrics.

Tuning is not a black magic it is science. There's lots of chemistry and mathematics involved. If this stuff interests you and you want to dig further, you can enroll in online courses such as HP Academy or EFI University to learn more.

Everything you can datalog with M-Tuner is available for you to look at in the .csv files yourself.

Wow are you getting nearly 28 psi? Mine peaks around 21 psi.

Does anyone know how to fix my fuel gauge after I flash back to stock? I need to take it to the dealer and I'm afraid that's a huge red flag that the fuel gauge doesn't read and has a big warning sign on the dash.

Add some gas or fill it completely up. After I flash my car with an update, I add a few gallons and let it sit overnight. that fixes it.

Thanks for that! I guess I'll have to reschedule my appointment. Hopefully, 1 or 2 gallons will do it.

We mention this in our install instructions, it's a very easy fix and is a normal thing to occur when modules reset. Normally a simple single drive cycle will reset the fuel gauge fault.

In my experience I get that PAS fault like clockwork whenever I flash. It goes away if you drive around, stop and lock the car, and restart it later. Not a big deal at all

question about boots pressure.

what are the boost pressure ranges comparing a c4s stock or tuned?
When tuned, are the boost pressures on the dash accurate?

Dont quote me on this, If i remember correctly in stock form (S model) boost would ramp up to 15-16psi then taper to 12psi or so by redline.
with M-Engineering stage 1, (in my car) sustain 20-21psi all the way to redline

Are you using the factory boost gauge to measure this?
