Stop Sale on 2022 Aerokits
Just got the call from my dealer today that effective 7/1 there is a stop sale on aerokits for the 2022 models. Won’t even let him put in the order with it, which means that I probably won’t be able to get it by my freeze date of 7/7.
If you have one on order I would check with your dealer. He said this applies to the GTS (which he said is odd because it isn’t even out yet) as well and Turbos with the sport design package.

Agreed. I’m particularly bummed as I just came around to deciding to get it and then had it snatched away just like that when I was getting excited for it. Sucks that Porsche really cannot get it together for these kits.
I work a lot with manufacture etc and understand lead times and the current supply constraints, so a part of me gets it, but at the same tone this is one that they have had more than enough lead time to get right, and has nothing to do with 5 fabs only being able to make chips halfway across the world.
Just sucks seeing them fall short on this.

So I called my S/A and he said as of right now the AeroKit hasn't been kicked back on my build, but if I make any changes it might render the AeroKit option unavailable. He's going to call me in 30 minutes and pull up my build from home. I hadn't sent him my most recent build code, so he wants to confirm everything. Ughhhhh this sucks and I'll be taking a chance if I change anything.
Were you trying to add the AeroKit? Was your build commissioned with it previously?
edit: My S/A said the stop sale may be going into effect because of the release of the GTS. That will take a fair bit of the Sport Design parts, so the stop sale will likely hinder optioning the Sport Design front/rear fascia's as well.

My SA said the stop sale extends to the aerokit on the GTS as well and was able to add the sport design package to bang build with no issue, so not sure it’s that.

I updated my build on the 27th with no issues. Aerokit has been part of the build for the past two months, but will not make anymore changes based on this news.

Anyone able to get a GTS allocation, my dealer said that no one in country has a GTS allocation
I did my deposit to be on the list though
